[REPORT:DI-WO-NU-SO:1I/2017-U1:OUMUAMUA]

[WARNING: ONLY INCLUDES SI UNITS]

ʻOumuamua (oʊˌmuːəˈmuːə) has been publicly declared as the first interstellar object detected passing through the Solar System. Classified as OBJ/ENT-■■■■■■, and publicly designated 1I/2017 U1, it was discovered by ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ (credit given to Robert Weryk) using the ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ device at the Pan-STARRS telescope at Haleakala Observatory, Hawaii, on ■■ ■■■■■■■■ 2017, 33 days after it passed its closest point to the Sun. When ■■■■■■■■■■■■ determined that the object was compliant with ■■■■■■■■■■■■ (for the OBJ/ENT classification), it was about 33,000,000 km (0.22 AU) from Earth (about 85 times as far away as the Moon), and already heading away from the Sun.

Publicly disclosed as an asteroid, ʻOumuamua is in fact the derelict remnant of the ■■■■■■ ■■■■■■■ Object/Entity. The current path was predicted in page 31, folio viii of manuscript ■■■■■■■■■■■, recovered from the CNR location. For more information on this subject, see report CNR-0001 dated November 30, 1946. Different release dates are restricted to ASD/C3I or COMIREX directives from their respective time lines.

ʻOumuamua is a small object, estimated to be about 230 m–1,000 m × 35 m–167 m × 35 m–167 m in size. It has a dark red color, similar to all the other known ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ from the outer Solar System. ʻOumuamua has since undergone non-gravitational acceleration, ■■■■■■■■ ■■■■■■ ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■, potentially consistent with ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ■■■■■■■■, and ■■■■■■■■ ■■■■■■■■, ■■■■ ■■■■■■■■■■■■ ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ■■■■■■■■■. It has significant elongation and rotation rate, so it is thought to be metal-rich with a relatively high density. ʻOumuamua is ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■, rather than smoothly ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■, and is moving so fast relative to the Sun that there is no chance it originated in ■■■■■■■■■■■■. It also means that ʻOumuamua cannot be captured into ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ or ■■■■■■■■■■■■, so it will eventually leave the Solar System and resume traveling through interstellar space. ʻOumuamua’s place of origin and the amount of time it has spent traveling among the stars are unknown.[ERROR:TRUNCATED]:MISSING_DATA:[0167]\nMessage Body:WE JUST DON’T KNOW.
